Ein Zettel kriegt einen Eselkopf über, eine Prinzessin erliegt seinen Reizen und an allem der Übersetzer schuld? Was für! Ein Esel, ein Witz! Wer, der Text? Der Leser? Sus. Wo doch Esel als liebevolle, geduldige Therapietiere bekannt, geduldig, belastbar und ausdauernd. Beharrlich auch, wenn es drauf ankommt. Keine großen Aufritte und keine Fluchtreflexe, auch nicht vor noch so unübersetzbaren Texten. Hingegen feinstes Gespür für Ton und Zwischentöne, Satzmelodien, Struktur und was noch alles!
Das Angebot lautet also: Übersetzerin mit besonders feinen, langen Ohren verwandelt Ihre englischen, französischen, italienischen und niederländischen Texte in ihr deutsches oder französisches Gegenüber, elegant, genau und pünktlich.

Le songe d’une nuit d’été, acte 3, scène 1
De la métamorphose, à l’âne, à la truite – la traduction est un jeu, plus que l’on joue plus que l’on trouve des sens et possibles aux intraduisibles.
Il est vrai que mon oreille musicale se laisse guider par les rythmes et sonorités d’une voix d’auteur.e pour en rendre le ton et le phrasé, pour préciser le sens et la structure d’un texte en traduction.
